Matter Of Mind are back with their new single, ‘Sanity’, which was released yesterday and can now be heard across all digital platforms. Matter Of Mind hail from Stockport and, with so many alternative bands also emerging from Stockport, trying to stand out from the crowd can be difficult; yet, time after time, the 4 piece prove that it is no challenge to them. Again, taking their inspiration from the 90’s American alternative, Matter Of Mind did not disappoint!
‘Sanity’ takes all the thundering guitar riffs and progressive beats, that the band pride themselves on, and has merged them with an electronic undertone to create another banging tune. I had heard them play the single the last time I had seen them and knew it would be a hit as it had the 4-piece’s signature driving force running from start to finish. Keeping with their heavy, hammering beat, paired with lead singer, Jordan's, clear and powerful vocals, ‘Sanity’ creates an energetic build-up of atmosphere, that blares from your speakers, willing you to dance and sing along to! It’s clear Matter Of Mind are accomplished musicians with a flare for originality allowing them to stand out to many, with champions such as Clint Boon of Inspiral Carpets!
